National Customer Service Week Roundup #ncsw22

National Customer Service Week Roundup

During the week of 3rd to 7th October 2022, the inTEC GROUP came together to celebrate National Customer Service Week. It was a great success!

NCSW (run by the Institute of Customer Service) is a week-long opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy. The whole week provided a perfect opportunity to thank our people for their contribution to our clients and those who support our internal customers too.

We dedicated each day to a theme which linked to the inTEC brand values:

Innovation Nurture Teamwork Expertise Customer

Monday – Innovation

The week started with a focus on Innovation‘. Who are inTEC and what do we do for our clients?

This was the perfect opportunity for us to finally launch our new inTEC GROUP to video to explain more!

A big thank you to Joshua Makinson at HotShot Agency and all the team at inTEC for their involvement in our video earlier in the year!

Tuesday – Nurture

On Tuesday we focused on the theme ‘Nurture’ and our internal customers – our fantastic team!

At inTEC, supporting inclusivity and mental wellbeing is valued as a main priority for our team to perform as fantastically as they do. So, it was clear to us that this day had to be dedicated to appreciating all teams across the group. Therefore, we have launched a Wellness Action Plan to support individuals’ mental wellbeing.

Alongside this, we have ongoing support from our Wellbeing Partner, Able Futures, who help with mental health in the workplace by providing advice, information and support. A mental health specialist is available to teach coping mechanisms, build resilience, access therapy or work with employers to make adjustments to help mental health at work.

We really encourage our staff to utilise these resources and talk!

Wednesday – Teamwork

As we reached the middle of this special week, the theme was Teamwork’.

Today we celebrated by posting various photos of the wonderful inTEC team throughout the day on our social platforms! Staff sent in their ‘day in the life’ snaps from their walk to work, on the job activities to inTEC’s furry friends!

Also throughout the day, our team took part in our ‘Good Deed Feed’ by praising fellow colleagues via the Microsoft Teams ‘Praise’ feature with really supportive comments including:

“Brilliant hard-working team, always supportive and manages to find a solution.”

“They are doing an amazing job managing the help desk.”

“Very supportive, friendly, helpful and professional!”

“Thanks for all your assistance to help me get my work done, it’s really appreciated.”

“Fab team! Always a joy to work with, lots of amazing ideas and always so efficient”

Finally, the day ended with each member of the team receiving a care package in their office or straight to their house to thank them for their excellent customer service!

Thursday – Expertise

Calling all our apprentices! It’s the penultimate day of NCSW and the theme is ‘Expertise’.

We dedicated this day to showcasing all of the people who are currently on apprenticeship schemes at inTEC.

Young talent is the future of our business, and we feel very lucky to have all of these great people in our team.

We asked them for their thoughts about their apprenticeships and their hopes for the future.

Friday – Customer

As National Customer Service Week drew to a close, we said a big thank you to everyone who took part in the week’s event. The week has shown some great examples of teamwork both internally and with customers.

The final theme today is ‘customer’. It’s really simple, we wouldn’t be inTEC without our wonderful clients!

From accountants and barristers to schools and charities, we regularly receive brilliant feedback from many of our clients across all sectors. A sample of our case studies can be found on our website.

And, why not pop over to our YouTube channel to discover more about what our clients have to say?
