There was some sadness and much laughter as Kreative Kai Vacher interrogated our heroes to cunningly craft what we can learn from our stories battling Digital Headaches.
He said his mission was to understand “How do we help SLTs to become more dynamic distinguished digital decision makers?”
Kreative Kai then asked the first question “what will help SLTs all over the Globe with their Digital Headaches?”
Magnanimous Mark Steed replied that the digital strategy has to be driven by the educational agenda. Developing organisational structures has helped him share the control for the strategy with the staff at Jess Dubai and now at Kellet schools Hong Kong.
Then he posed this challenging question “How do you capture learning when it is not in 2D?”
Far sighted Philippa Wraithmell replied helping our students to choose when and when not, to use technology, is our responsibility. We need to help students learn how to stay digitally safe.
She posed this challenging question – “What should be negotiable and what is not in using digital in your schools?”
Juggling Jennie Burke replied, she is battling with the more you do, the harder it gets and so she is working to find the right balance between control and creativity, systems and autonomy, so staff can spend more time with their students in their care.
She posed this challenging question – “How do you remove any single points of failure?”
Tenacious Tracy Moxley replied that Pedagogy is god in her digital decision making. She is forging effective partnerships that will give her teachers the freedom they need to take risks and disrupt the British curriculum.
Tracy posed this challenging question “How do we support personalisation and engagement in and outside the classroom?
